PricePulse vs other repricers

Why sellers leave the race to the bottom

A rule that only undercuts will follow every rival to the floor. These controls are where PricePulse stops that.

Who you compete with

The cheapest offer is not always the seller who can take the Buy Box.

Other repricers

A typical repricer uses one action for the whole offer list. An FBM seller with slow shipping, and Amazon Retail itself, pull an FBA price down with them.

PricePulse

You set a separate move for FBA, Seller Fulfilled Prime, FBM, and Amazon Retail: Beat By, Match, Price Above, or Ignore. The gap is a flat amount or a percent. FBM can match landed price. Amazon Retail can be ignored.

Buy Box

Winning the Buy Box should not mean staying at the lowest price.

Other repricers

Once the rule is “beat the lowest,” the price keeps falling. After you win, it stays there. A quiet listing does not climb back.

PricePulse

Compete only with the current Buy Box winner, or only with eligible sellers, always on landed price (item plus shipping). While you hold the Buy Box, step the price up, hold it, or jump to max. With no competition, reset to max, keep the price, or go to min.

Weak rivals

A seller who cannot win the Buy Box should not set your price.

Other repricers

Used items, a new account with no feedback, and a slow overseas shipment all count as competition. Your price follows them.

PricePulse

Skip sellers below your feedback rating and review count, past your handling-day limit, or shipping from outside your market. Choose new condition only, the exact condition, or all conditions. Block seller IDs, or compete only with the rivals you name.

Overnight

The morning price should not be whatever the bots reached at 3 a.m.

Other repricers

The same undercut keeps running after buyers have gone to sleep. The day opens at the overnight low, and you spend it climbing back.

PricePulse

Sleep mode has its own start and end. Inside that window the price resets to max, or repricing pauses. The listing opens in the morning from that higher price.

Price wars

Two bots penny-dropping is not a strategy.

Other repricers

Each one-cent move triggers another. Neither tool stops until both listings are sitting on the floor.

PricePulse

If a rival goes under your minimum, hold the floor, ignore them and match the next seller, or stop that SKU. A circuit breaker freezes the listing after too many changes in an hour. Moves smaller than your threshold are ignored. On a matched price you can hold, do nothing, or beat by a cent.

Your margin

The price Amazon receives has to stay inside the band you set.

Other repricers

The calculated price is what gets uploaded. Low stock and a SKU that has not sold in weeks do not change the rule. Shipping and overhead are easy to leave out of the floor.

PricePulse

Minimum and maximum are a percent or a fixed amount, with a floor, a ceiling, and a target margin. Choose one-way gain or auto competitive. Freight and a fixed overhead rate sit inside the limit.

Stock and aged inventory

A nearly empty warehouse and a SKU that has not sold should not share one rule.

Other repricers

The same undercut keeps running when only a few units are left, and when a listing has sat with zero sales for weeks.

PricePulse

Low stock turns on a margin shield once units fall under your threshold. After your zero-sales day count, aged inventory can hunt the Buy Box harder or discount toward min.

Every Amazon storefront

A floor that protects one Amazon marketplace should protect the next one too.

Other repricers

Each country store is a separate setup. The rule on Amazon.com does not carry to Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, or Amazon.in.

PricePulse

The same rules run on Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.in, Amazon.de, and Amazon.ae. Compete With, sleep mode, and the min/max band stay with the listing on every Seller Central storefront.
